PROPHET ENVOY
In spring of 2023 I was approached by an up and coming streetwear brand, who has since taken off on social media and on the web. It has been inspiring and an honor to design for them, and to watch our designs take off.
The latest tapestries of MLK, Malcom X, and Maya Angelou have recently been featured by artists wearing them in concert, and on Patriots players wearing them on the news, and are now being featured in NYFW and Paris FW 2025. I have loved seeing how far the brand has come, and the traction pieces have gained.

Prophet Envoy began as a faith-based clothing brand with a mission: to act as a messenger of good news. As the brand evolved, it became a powerful platform for honoring Black revolutionaries, visionaries, and cultural icons. My design process started with deep research—diving into the lives and legacies of featured figures, understanding the messages we wanted to amplify, and identifying how visual storytelling could pay tribute without simplifying complexity. Every design needed to be bold, intentional, and rooted in respect.
From early mood boards to final garment layouts, I worked to build a cohesive visual identity that felt both reverent and contemporary. Typography played a key role, drawing from historical references while staying legible and expressive. I designed with the understanding that each piece—whether a tapestry or a t-shirt—needed to stand alone as a statement and collectively support the larger narrative of the brand. Color, texture, and layout choices were all carefully considered to reflect the emotional weight and cultural resonance of the subjects.
In many ways, Prophet Envoy is a form of wearable archival work. I approached each drop as a curated collection, pairing visuals with quotes, timelines, and references that invite learning and conversation. Beyond the garments, I also contributed to packaging, editorial content, and event materials, ensuring that the brand experience felt complete from unboxing to wearing. Through design, I aimed to honor history while pushing style forward—creating pieces that spark dialogue and deepen connection.
